Hi all

regarding the event-queue we discussed here
(https://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8705#c29) I found an
interesting CLI utility:

https://www.ostechnix.com/add-linux-commands-queue-execute-one-one/

which seems to be available in rpm package too..

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/24049935/dir/centos_6/com/ts-0.7.3-1.2.i686.rpm.html

HTH

The source code is available from launchpad (it's linked in the first
page linked in my previous post)

there's also a clone on github

I can see that, but where is the credibility? No author website, a
'clone' on github, no sources straight from the author, no license info,
no road map

This little utility goes way way back :-)
It is the future and sustainability I would like to check up on. It is
not in one of the default repo's of SME nor CentOS, so that would mean
we have to start maintaining a SME Server version. IF it is to be used
as a part of core SME Server. As part of a contrib it is a different story.
